Three specialty jerseys and four giveaway games highlight the 2023-24 promo schedule

With three specialty jerseys and four giveaway games, our promotional schedule has something for everyone this season at Blue Cross Arena! And with the new Unified Standings across the league, you’ll get your first look at the Calgary Roughnecks, Vancouver Warriors, and Las Vegas Desert Dogs as those teams make their way to Rochester. (Bonus: we had to have some fun with our promos and play off our opponents!)

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 2: WESTERN KNIGHT

Giddy up, Knighthawks fans! The Calgary Roughnecks make their way to Rochester for the first-ever meeting between the two teams, and one thing is certain: this town ain’t big enough for the both of us. It’ll be a rootin’ tootin’ good time at Western Knight, and the first 1,000 fans will receive a cowboy boot pint glass (yes, you read that correctly!).

After your grab your boot, make sure you try the new Knighthawk Hazy IPA with Three Heads Brewing: it’s on tap at Blue Cross Arena!

Then mosey on over to the Hall of Fame area for some square-dancing’ fun! More Western Knight details will be revealed as the knight approaches.

SATURDAY, DECEMBER 23: COLD WINTER’S KNIGHT

It’ll be a flurry of ice, cold fun as we celebrate the holiday season hosting the Vancouver Warriors in their first ever trip to Blue Cross Arena! It’s definitely going to be a sweater weather game: the squad will don specialty Holiday Hawks jerseys for the knight. The game-issued jerseys will be up for auction the week of the game, and we’ll give you one hint: if it’s snowing outside, we’ll match the weather. Proceeds from the auction will benefit a local cancer-support based organization.

SATURDAY, JANUARY 13: YOUTH LACROSSE KNIGHT

The Buffalo Bandits are back in town, and we’re expecting a rowdy crowd of youth lacrosse teams! All teams can receive a special discounted ticket (please contact Bobby Heimrich at (585)286-9964 for details). More details surrounding Youth Lacrosse Knight will be announced as the season approaches.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 10: MILITARY SALUTE

Our annual Military Salute, presented by the Veteran’s Outreach Center, is back as we host the Georgia Swarm. The Knighthawks will wear specialty military-inspired jerseys, which will be auctioned the week of the game. Proceeds from the game-issued jersey auction will benefit the Veteran’s Outreach Center in Rochester.

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 24: CASINO KNIGHT

The Las Vegas Desert Dogs are in town for the first time ever, so we’re hosting a Casino Knight at Blue Cross Arena! Roll the dice and enjoy a pregame Knight of Beer to really get the fun started early. We’ll be handing out a giveaway — still to be announced — for the first 2,000 fans.

SATURDAY, MARCH 9: NATIVE AMERICAN HERITAGE KNIGHT

As part of the league-wide Every Child Matters initiative, we’re hosting our annual Native American Heritage Knight, presented by Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino, as we host the Albany Firewolves. Players will wear the orange Every Child Matters shooting shirts before the game, and there will be many presentations throughout the knight.

SATURDAY, MARCH 30: ROC THE RINK

In partnership with the Rochester Americans, we’re hosting our first ever ROC the Rink game, powered by DASH! The squad will wear specialty Rochester city-inspired jerseys  — which will match the Amerks for their April 13th game — and the game-issued jerseys will be up for auction the week of the game. We’ll be celebrating all the things we love about Rochester while the Halifax Thunderbirds are in town.

SATURDAY, APRIL 6: BUCKET HAT GIVEAWAY

The first 2,000 fans will receive a Knighthawks bucket hat, thanks to Segar & Sciortino and their annual hat giveaway knight! We’re hosting the New York Riptide in the second-to-last regular season home game.

SUNDAY, APRIL 21: MARVEL SUPER HERO™️ DAY

As part of a league-wide initiative, we’re hosting a Marvel Super Hero™️ Day, presented by Zweigle’s. The first 3,000 kids will receive a custom comic book, and there will be plenty of Marvel-filled fun throughout the game. It’s a 3pm face-off against the Philadelphia Wings, so it’s perfect for the whole family: there will even be a kids ticket offer (contact CJ Scroger at (585)286-9942 for more information).
