The Rochester Knighthawks are hosting their first-ever Kids Day presented by Zweigle’s on Sunday, Feb. 9 when the team hosts the Vancouver Warriors at Segar & Sciortino Field at The Blue Cross Arena at 2:00 p.m.
Sunday’s game will feature a total Kids Takeover as the Knighthawks take on the Warriors for the only time this season. As part of the day’s family-friendly festivities, youth fans will have the opportunity to serve in various game-day roles, such as public address announcer and in-game host, while one lucky fan will have the chance to join the veteran broadcast team of Craig Rybczynski and Brendan McDaniels to call the day’s action from the broadcast booth.
Following the game, fans are invited to join the Knighthawks players on the turf for a post-game autograph session presented by Zweigle’s from 4:45 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The event will also include bounce houses courtesy of Air Affair, balloon animals and a face painter as well as other activities for kids.
Chopper will be joined by several of mascot friends for the day, including the Amerks Moose. The mascots will be in attendance to mingle with fans, pose for pictures and partake in different activities throughout the day.
All kids’ tickets (ages 12 and under) for Sunday’s game can be purchased for just $10, with adult tickets available for as low as $17.
