(Rochester, NY)… The Rochester Knighthawks named their final team award recipient this week, as Nathan Kapp received this year’s Unsung Hero award. Kapp was one of six players honored for his efforts during the 2025-26 campaign.
The Knighthawks unveiled the year-end award winners following the conclusion of the season, beginning with the naming of Ryland Rees as the winner of the community service award. Below is the complete list of winners.

Presented annually to the Knighthawks player who is deemed to have contributed the most humanitarian service to the Rochester community over the course of the season.

Presented annually to the player who exhibits courage, enthusiasm, and love for the game of lacrosse.

Awarded to the player who exhibited a team-first mindset and is beloved in the locker room.

Presented to the player whose defensive performance constantly exceeded excellence and was the most impactful to the organization.

Presented to the player whose offensive performance constantly exceeded excellence and was the most impactful to the organization.
