(Rochester, NY)… The Rochester Knighthawks announced their 2026-27 schedule today, which opens on Saturday, Nov. 28 at 7 p.m. at Segar & Sciortino Field at The Blue Cross Arena against the Halifax Thunderbirds. Excitement returns this season as the Knighthawks will wear their new teal and purple uniforms.
Beyond the new colorway, the Knighthawks have improved by adding new faces behind the bench and on the floor. Rochester is now under the leadership of new head coach Troy Cordingley and has added defensive coach Phil Sanderson to the coaching lineup.
On the floor, the Knighthawks bolstered their defense by selecting 2026 National Lacrosse League Defensive Player of the Year Callum Jones in the NLL Dispersal Draft, along with veteran defensemen Brent Noseworthy and Luc Magnan. Rochester also selected seasoned goalie Tyler Carlson.
The quest for a return to the postseason begins in November.
