Rochester Knighthawks General Manager and Vice President of Lacrosse Operations Dan Carey announced today that the team has re-signed goaltender Riley Hutchcraft to a two-year contract, pending league approval.
Hutchcraft, 26, returns to Rochester for his second season after going 0-1 record with 25 saves and a .740 save percentage during the 2022-23 campaign. He also made six saves in Rochester’s first-ever playoff appearance against Buffalo.
In four seasons with the Rock, the Toronto, Ontario, native recorded a 6.43 goals-against average and a .698 save percentage.
Hutchcraft made his NLL debut on Jan. 6, 2018, playing the final 15 minutes, allowing two goals, in the Rock’s 24-7 win at Vancouver.
Originally a third-round selection (15th overall) of Toronto in the 2017 NLL Entry Draft, Hutchcraft was acquired by Rochester along with forward Connor Fields and the first overall pick in the 2022 NLL Entry Draft (Thomas McConvey) from the Las Vegas Desert Dogs.
