After seeing the Spencerport Rangers girl’s lacrosse team (1-5) hold a 5-3 lead before forcing overtime late in the second half, the Webster Schroeder Warriors (3-4) prevailed on Brooke Guelli’s fourth goal of the afternoon for a thrilling 9-8 overtime win on Monday at Webster Schroeder High School.
The Warriors, who entered the matchup winless in their previous three games, were paced offensively by Guelli’s four-goal outing. Anna Rodgers (2+0), Ella Dossier (1+1) and Kylee Race (0+2) all recorded a pair of points for a multi-point game. Stefanie Sellitto and Ava Dossier each added a goal while Makenna Baier was credited with an assist. Goaltender Lucy Stazyk made 10 saves in the win.
Molly Guzik (2+1) and Brooke Endres (1+1) both turned in a multi-point performance for Spencerport. Isabella Buono, Ruby DePalma, and Alyssa Nichols each scored once while Raquel Circhirillo registered an assist. Kayla Ferrigno made six saves but was dealt the overtime loss.
Webster Schroeder faced a two-goal deficit to start the second half, but the Warriors turned it around as Guelli completed the hat trick with six minutes left in the back-and-forth affair.

Later in the contest, Ava Dossier and Race teamed up to give the Warriors their first lead of the night.
As the game was inside its final minute of regulation, DePalma grabbed possession of the ball and sprinted the distance to even the score at eight with just over three seconds left to ultimately force overtime.
In the extra frame, the Warriors won the opening draw, and after slowing the pace down, Guelli, who was deemed Player of the Game, capped off the 9-8 win as she whistled a shot past Ferrigno.
The teams went goal-for-goal in regulation until Guelli netted her fourth of the game to lift Webster to its third win of the season.
