(Rochester, NY)… The National Lacrosse League released statements Thursday night regarding the discipline of Rochester Knighthawks players Rylan Hartley and Tyler Biles.
The National Lacrosse League Players’ Association (NLLPA) has withdrawn its appeal on the Hartley hit on Jan. 31, so he will serve his one-game suspension on Saturday as the Knighthawks host the Ottawa Black Bears.
Biles and Vancouver’s Jackson Suboch were given a game misconduct and one-game suspension as a result of their actions prior to last Saturday’s game in Vancouver. If the NLLPA appeals the discipline, the players will be eligible to play in games until the matter is adjudicated.
Rochester returns to action Saturday as they have a date with the Ottawa Black Bears on Valentine’s Day. Faceoff is set for 7 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 14, at Segar & Sciortino Field at The Blue Cross Arena. The first 1,000 fans will receive an NLL sticker book, courtesy of TFL Sports.
