The Rochester Knighthawks announced today the opening day roster for the team’s 2023-24 Training Camp, which gets underway this weekend with practice sessions being held Friday through Sunday at Segar & Sciortino Field at The Blue Cross Arena. All practices are closed to the public unless otherwise noted.
The team will host its first of two practice sessions on Saturday, Oct. 28 at 10:00 a.m. and then again at 5:00 p.m. The highlight of the opening weekend of camp is an intersquad scrimmage on Sunday, Oct. 29 beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Knighthawks head coach Mike Hasen and select players will be available to the media in-between practice sessions on Saturday.
CLICK HERE TO VIEW ROSTERRochester’s training camp roster features 36 players, including 19 that appeared in at least one game with the Knighthawks during the 2022-23 season. The roster also includes a pair of 2023 draft picks in defensemen Ben Macdonnell and Jake Dolittle.
Forwards (12): Pent Eistrat, Turner Evans, Connor Fields, Austin Hasen, Stephen Keogh, Curtis Knight, Hunter Lemieux, Dan Lomas, Thomas McConvey, Nick Miller, Ryan Smith and Kyle Waters.
Defensemen (13): Matt Bennett, Tyler Biles, Dan Coates, Jake Dolittle, Brad Gillies, Tyler Halls, Greg Harnett, Taylor Jensen, Ben Macdonnell, Mitch Ogilvie, Parker Pipher, Curtis Romanchych and Carter Schott.
Transition (8): Connor Farrell, Matt Gilray, Cory Highfield, Ethan O’Connor, Joe Post, Ryland Rees, Jordan Stouros and Thomas Whitty.
Goaltenders (3): Rylan Hartley, Riley Hutchcraft and Dylan Sprentz.
Rochester will hold additional practice sessions over the month-long camp at Brampton Memorial Arena between Wednesday, Nov. 8 and Tuesday, Nov. 21.
The team will also play in three exhibition contests during the month of November, beginning on Sunday, Nov. 12 against the Buffalo Bandits at KeyBank Center before taking on the Georgia Swarm at Brampton Memorial Arena on Saturday, Nov. 18. Rochester will host the New York Riptide on Saturday, Nov. 25 at Segar & Sciortino Field at The Blue Cross Arena.

The Knighthawks are slated to open their fourth NLL season at home on Saturday, Dec. 2 at 7:00 p.m. when they host the Calgary Roughnecks at Segar & Sciortino Field at The Blue Cross Arena as part of the league’s Face Off Weekend. Knighthawks single-game tickets will go on sale Friday, Nov. 3 at 10:00 a.m. Season Tickets are on sale now and start as low as $19 per seat per game.
