(Rochester, NY)… The Rochester Knighthawks head to Rogers Arena on Saturday, Feb. 7 for their Week 11 matchup with the Vancouver Warriors. Fans can catch the 10 p.m. EST game on NLL+ and ESPN+.
It will be their second game against Vancouver in as many weeks. The Warriors sit third in the league through 10 weeks at 5-2. Rochester sits just inside the playoff picture at seventh with a 4-3 record. Last time the Knighthawks went to Rogers Arena, it was under much different circumstances. A win-or-go-home scenario in the NLL Quarterfinals last year.
Last Time Out
These two teams faced off last week in Rochester, with Vancouver posting a 16-6 victory. The big swing came in the third. The Warriors led by three goals at the end of the first half and went on a seven-goal run in the third quarter to make it a 10-goal lead. Keegan Bal was involved in five of the seven goals.
The Knighthawks were led in scoring by Ryan Lanchbury and Connor Fields, who each posted a goal and three assists. Riley Hutchcraft made 28 saves, playing the majority of the game in relief of starter Rylan Hartley.
MVP Check-in
Connor Fields has continued his form from the MVP season into the 2026 campaign. In seven games, he’s notched 50 points and is averaging 7.1 per game. That’s tied for the best in the league among players with at least five games played this season. He ranks fourth in the league with 222 shot contributions this season, which combines shots and passes leading to shots.
He has been just as dominant in the loose-ball game as last season, scooping up 51 for 7.3 per game (highest among all forwards). Last week, he grabbed his 500th as a Knighthawk. Along with his success in obtaining the ball, Fields has been one of the league’s best at not giving it away. He has only turned the ball over 10 times this season. That is 22 fewer turnovers than any other top-five scorer in the league.
Scouting the Warriors
Vancouver is third in the league and is the only team with a 5-2 record. They continue to have the best scoring defense in the league, only allowing 60 goals so far this season. Christian Del Bianco sits second amongst starting goalies for save percentage (84%) and goals against average (8.43).
They are a unit that thrives in transition. Almost a quarter of the Warriorsʼ points have come in transition; 41 of their 207 points have been scored by a transition player or defender. They do it by committee; six different non-forwards have at least four points this season. Offensively, Keegan Bal (15+35) leads the unit. His 50 points rank fourth in the NLL. Curtis Dickson (17+15), Jesse King (13+18), and Adam Charalambides (12+14) round out the top four.
